Home; redefined.

Looking out the window and staring at the high rising bluish green mountains for hours; something I loved to do when I was back at my home. Born a kandyan, I love the cool breeze and cold water as well as the fresh air that wrap and hug you once you get onto a mountain top.

Moved away from home for higher education and living in a totally urban area near the capital has made the value of returning to the mountains, where I belong bigger and outstanding.

I don’t regret the decision of moving away from home because it has made the freshness those things I used to enjoy back at ‘home’ obvious to me.

For me, it is not the house with family in it makes the feeling of ‘home’, but the freshness in the nature does.
